How much does a Doula cost?

The cost of a doula varies from state to state. Many are also willing to work with special circumstances.

The following fees charged by Blessed Birth cover 3-4 prenatal visits, the entire duration of birth (regardless of length), and at least one postpartum visit.

$500
For women living in Pitt County, birthing either at home or at Vidant Medical Center.

$550
For women residing within an approximate 1-hour commute of Pitt County and birthing at Vidant Medical Center.

$600
For women residing within an approximate 1-hour commute of Pitt County and birthing either at home or at their local hospital/medical center.

At Blessed Birth, we view the role of doula as a professional calling as well as a ministry. We want to make sure that every woman who wants the support of a doula can have it, regardless of income, age, or marital status. If you are concerned about your ability to pay, please contact us and we can discuss payment plans or a sliding scale, based on income. We also offer a discount to our military families as our show of appreciation for your sacrifice.
